Economic History and History of Economic Thought. Firms, Institutions, and Cultures

The admission test, aimed at ascertaining the candidate's preparation, skills and aptitudes for scientific research, consists of a written test, an oral test and the evaluation of the qualifications presented.

The written test will focus on macro-themes of both economic history and history of economic thought.

The oral test may also, but not exclusively, focus on the research project attached to the application by the candidate. The oral test includes the verification of knowledge of the English language.

Participants in the PhD competition will have to sit a written test and an oral test on topics in economic history and history of economic thought, as stipulated in the announcement. Below are some bibliographical indications to prepare for the tests:
