Economic History and History of Economic Thought. Firms, Institutions, and Cultures

The educational offer of the first year will be aimed primarily at completing the student's preparation in the historical-economic subjects, in the basic economic subjects and in those related to the tools and methods functional to the research activity. From the second year, the course will offer doctoral lectures and seminars by Italian and foreign professors in the field of Economic History and other "core" disciplines. The focus will also be on the acquisition by PhDs of instrumental skills with activities such as computer labs, laboratories to strengthen language skills (objectives: level C1 in English and B2 in another language), public speaking and academic writing workshops.
Essential elements of the training course will be research trips abroad, as well as participation in national and international conferences and workshops.
