The doctoral programmes include teaching activities organised both at the level of individual courses or schools, and in synergy with the other teaching initiatives of Università Cattolica appropriate to the research activity.

The set of training activities allows:

• the expansion and consolidation of basic training and the acquisition of appropriate specialist knowledge;
• the acquisition of specific operational techniques and research methodologies;
• the development of an appropriate research project, under the guidance of professors and tutors, aimed at acquiring original results, susceptible to publication in scientific forums of recognized national and international value; this research forms the basis for the preparation of the thesis, necessary for the achievement of the PhD title.
