Summer School in Communicating Science and the Value of Research
Through an intensive four-day course, participants will be involved in a dynamic and multidisciplinary teaching experience: combining lectures, workshops and practical exercises.
PhD students will have the opportunity to explore communication models, narrative techniques, digital strategies and innovative approaches to science dissemination. Particular attention will be paid to the theme of personal branding, as a strategic lever to enhance the role of the researcher both within the scientific context and in society. Participants will discuss how to position themselves in a decisive way, make their professional profile recognizable and give visibility to their research activity. Also from a third mission perspective, developing a recognizable and consistent presence helps build trust, fosters dialogue with institutions, businesses and citizens, and strengthens the public role of scientific knowledge.
The initiative is aimed at PhD students and researchers interested in enhancing their ability to communicate the value of research and promoting an effective dialogue between science and society. This Summer School is not only an opportunity for training, but also a space for discussion, collaboration and exchange between those who believe that communicating science is not just an option, but a responsibility.
