Social Work and Personal Social Services

For each new doctoral cycle, the programme of courses and their distribution over the three years of the programme are approved by the Academic Board at the same time as the application for ministerial accreditation and are subsequently published on the institutional web pages dedicated to the Doctorate.

The amount of compulsory teaching hours takes into account the fact that most doctoral students come from distinctly professionalizing degree courses and therefore, if on the one hand they already have a good knowledge of social work in the field, they nevertheless need a strengthening of knowledge regarding theoretical and empirical research.

The names of the professors in charge of the courses and the annual calendar of lessons are prepared by the Academic Board, in general, within the month before the beginning of each academic year (October) and communicated to the doctoral students via the web. The calendar is updated during the year with an indication of the training activities scheduled later.

Lessons are in Italian or English.
