Nadia BASSANO 

Born in Pescara in 1982, after graduating from high school she chose to specialize in music therapy, an area that allows her to work closely with the reality of childhood and disability.

Since 2003 she has been collaborating as a music therapist with kindergartens, kindergartens and associations in the Brescia area, developing a particular interest in pedagogical-educational relationships and communication, as well as sound-music.

Her interest in pedagogical issues led her, in 2009, to enrol at university to complete her education, while continuing her work: she then obtained, with full marks, the three-year degree in Sciences of Educational Processes in July 2013 and the Master's Degree in Pedagogical Planning and Human Resources Training in April 2015, both at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Brescia campus. In the meantime, a collaboration with the Center for Pedagogical Studies on Matrimonial and Family Life, directed by Prof. Luigi Pati, began at the same location.

Therefore, in the face of the studies carried out and the work experience in the field, especially in the context of the nursery, the candidate approaches the theme of parenting and participatory planning as a form of active citizenship: of particular interest are the local and international good practices  carried out by parents with children in early childhood, in the perspective of an educational and inclusive city. This topic, under the guidance of Prof. Luigi Pati as tutor, will be the subject of research of the candidate, currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School in Personal and Educational Sciences, specializing in Pedagogy (Education).

Isabella BINDA

Isabella Binda, born in Milan in 1990, obtained a three-year degree in Modern Literature in 2012 from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. To carry out the thesis of the three-year thesis he spent three months of research at the UWA University of Perth: the subject of the study is a group of letters sent from Italy to Australia in the second half of the nineteenth century, analyzed from a historical and linguistic point of view.

In the academic year 2014/2015, at the same university, he obtained a master's degree in Modern Philology, with a grade of 110 cum laude and supervisor Professor Michele Colombo. In her master's thesis work, she analyzed the language of the Betrothed, the second minute of Manzoni's novel.

She is now a PhD student at the School of Personal and Educational Sciences, research address "History and Literature of the Modern and Contemporary Age", with Professor Pierantonio Frare as tutor. The research project involves the drafting of a new commentary on Alessandro Manzoni's Fermo and Lucia.

Claudia CARISSOLI

Graduated in Economics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, she worked for almost twenty years in multinational companies, covering different roles and experimenting in complex and international environments, always with passion and enthusiasm.

In the meantime, she developed the desire to return to study by expanding her interests towards more humanistic topics, obtaining a master's degree in Developmental and Communication Psychology in 2013 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan thanks to the experimental thesis entitled "Mindfulness and new Technologies: creation and implementation of a protocol for stress reduction, supported by an Android app for smartphones", supervisor prof. Giuseppe Riva, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude.

In July 2014 she passed the state exam for the qualification to practice the profession of psychologist, after having carried out the internship at the Department of Psychology under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Riva and Prof. Daniela Villani, creating a smartphone application dedicated to the well-being of expectant mothers, currently available on the market (Benessere Mamma – Google Play).

In 2014 she began working as a freelancer, dealing with psychological support for anxiety disorders, stress, conflict management, eating disorders and relational problems, including business problems. It also designs and implements interventions for the promotion of psychological well-being supported by new technologies (stress management, anxiety reduction, relaxation, positive emotions).

Subject expert for the course "Personality and deviance: individual and psychosocial aspects" (lecturer prof. Sonia Ranieri) at the Faculty of Education.

She is a PhD student in Personal and Educational Sciences, specialising in "Person, Development, Learning", at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan under the tutorship of Prof. Daniela Villani.

Her research project aims to use new technologies to help secondary school students improve their management of emotions and anxiety in order to increase their self-efficacy and resilience in school and in life.

Maria Concetta CARRUBA

Graduated in Multimedia Trainer with a grade of 110/110 cum laude (2007) at the University of Palermo, she obtained a Master's Degree in Pedagogical Counseling for Disability and Marginality with a grade of 110/110 cum laude (2009) at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. Since 2011 he has started a private practice of Pedagogical and Family Consultancy, also following, as a pedagogist, the aspects of educational coordination and training at some schools (all school levels starting from kindergarten). Since 2012 he has been a Pedagogical Consultant at the Integration Service for Students with Disabilities and Specific Learning Disorders of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. He is a researcher and trainer at CeDisMa (Centre for Studies and Research on Disability and Marginality UCSC Milan, directed by Prof. Luigi d'Alonzo) on issues related to education, special pedagogy, and in particular the use of technologies from an inclusive perspective.

Author of the text "Technology and disability. Special Pedagogy and Technology for a Possible Inclusion" published by Pensa Multimedia in 2014.

She is currently enrolled in the PhD in Personal and Educational Sciences (XXXI cycle), Education (Pedagogy), Tutor Prof. Luigi d'Alonzo, with a research project dedicated to the pedagogical analysis of the potential of technologies and technological resources in the school context as an inclusive tool that responds to the needs of students with disabilities and specific learning disorders with a view to a school that is not only renewed and more digital, but for everyone, with everyone, of everyone.

Silvia MILANESI 

Born in Milan on 8 November 1988, in July 2011 she graduated in Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literatures (specialising in Language Expert for International Relations ) from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan campus.

In April 2014, he obtained a master's degree in Linguistic Sciences (International Management profile) from the same university, with the thesis "Why work is not a commodity: La Société de Protection des Apprentis et des Enfants Employés dans les Manufactures (1866-1914). With a linguistic analysis", supervisor Professor Aldo Carera (Economic History and History of Labour and Industrial Relations) and co-supervisor Professor Enrica Galazzi (French Linguistics).

After graduating, he began a collaboration, which is still ongoing, at the Department of Economic History, Society and Territorial Sciences "Mario Romani" (Catholic University of Milan), and since June 2015 he has been an expert in the subject for the teachings of Economic History, Economic History II, Economic History (Faculty of Economics) and History of Labor and Industrial Relations (Faculty of Linguistic Sciences).

Since the academic year 2015/2016 she has been a PhD student in Personal and Educational Sciences (historical profile), at the Catholic University of Milan, with a project related to the Lombard Group of the Christian Union of Entrepreneurs Executives (UCID), tutored by Professor Aldo Carera.  

Federico MANZI

In July 2011 she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in "Psychological Sciences and Techniques for the Person and the Community" at the Second University of Naples.
In July 2013 he obtained a Master's Degree in "Clinical Psychology" at the Second University of Naples with honors, having Prof. Paolo Cotrufo as supervisor.

He is currently a doctoral student at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore with a specialization: "Person, development, learning. Theoretical and applicative epistemological perspectives", under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Iannaccone and Prof. Antonella Marchetti.
The project is co-funded by the University of Neuchâtel.

The PhD project will focus on the analysis of the concept of materiality in child development, both in non-clinical and clinical forms, and on the other hand it will be of particular interest to the analysis of the arguments given by the child to the Theory of Mind tests.

Alessandro CORSI

Born in Milan in 1989, in February 2012 he obtained a three-year degree in Literature (historical address) at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, presenting during the discussion a hagiographic study of the sources present in the pastoral letter of Carlo Borromeo on the solemn translation of St. Simplicianus, Supervisor Prof. Paolo Tomea.

At the end of a six-month study stay in the Faculty of Ancient History of the University of Vienna, he deepened the dynamics related to the circulation of knowledge in Borromean Milan, graduating in April 2015 in Modern Philology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan with a master's thesis entitled "Paolo Morigia: Milanese scholar and sacred writer of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Biographical traits and bibliography of the works", coordinated by Prof. Paolo Tomea and Prof. Danilo Zardin.

Since October 2015 he has been a PhD student in Personal and Educational Sciences (XXXI Cycle), specialising in History and Literature of the Modern and Contemporary Age, at the same university. Under the supervision of Prof. Danilo Zardin, he is developing a research project aimed at defining the Milanese academic experiences, in particular the literary and educational ones, between the end of the sixteenth century and the Teresian reforms.
