Research
- Participation in research projects: PhD students will collaborate in ongoing research projects at Transcrime, gradually taking on increasing responsibilities. Upon reaching the third year of the PhD, candidates will be able to coordinate a research project (under the supervision of Prof. Savona and senior researchers). A full list of projects involving PhD students with a contributing or coordinating role is available here.
- Article for a scientific journal: PhD students will write an article on a topic related to their research interests under the supervision of the coordinator and tutor (second and third year PhD students). By the end of the second year, they must have submitted at least one article to an international peer-reviewed scientific journal.
- Doctoral thesis: at the end of the three years, doctoral students will write a thesis that reaches the standards of a publishable book, i.e. the standard that is used when reviewing an article or a book proposed to an international publisher.
