Admission procedures for the PhD programme in Institutions and Policies (XL cycle)
The entrance examination, aimed at ascertaining the preparation, skills and attitudes of the
candidate for scientific research, consists of:
- in an evaluation of the qualifications and the research project presented;
- in an oral test.
For the purposes of evaluating qualifications, each candidate is required to attach to the application, under penalty of exclusion:
- the curriculum vitae;
- the research project;
- the list of exams taken in the undergraduate and graduate degree courses, with related grades (also in self-certification);
- the index, introduction, conclusions and bibliography of the master's degree thesis.
Any other qualifications, such as publications, language proficiency certifications or other documentation attesting to professional and research experience relevant to the application for admission may also be attached.
Candidates are required to indicate in support of their application the names of 2 tenured university professors acting as referees (indicating their qualification, email address, telephone number), whom the Commission has the right to consult.
The oral test will include a discussion of the qualifications and the research project presented by the candidate; it will also include a test of knowledge of the foreign language indicated by the candidate.
