Academic Board

The doctorate in Sociology. Theory, Research, Applications makes use of a teaching staff made up of scholars from different disciplinary fields (general sociology, economic, work and organizational sociology;  sociology of cultural processes, education and communication;  sociology of the family; sociology of welfare, and migration;  sociology of development; research methodology;  Economic Policy, Anthropological Disciplines) largely belonging to the Department of Sociology of Università Cattolica and included in important research networks at national and international level, as well as engaged in the professions and the third mission. Some professors from foreign universities are also members of the board.

The Academic Board plans, organises and delivers the educational offer; it guides and accompanies – also with moments of verification and collegial discussion – the progress of the research work of doctoral students.
