Physical Exercise and Sports Sciences

The PhD programme provides advanced training with respect to:

• Conception, illustration and communication of research projects based on solid and solid knowledge of the current scientific literature and methodological skills, implemented with appropriate experimental designs and protocols.
• Use of the most advanced physiological, psychological, pedagogical and methodological research techniques applied to the various experimental models, including specific training on new tools and techniques.
• Appropriate analysis of experimental data, including quantitative and qualitative methods for data analysis in physiological, psychological, pedagogical, and methodological research and the use of statistical packages
• Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as writing scientific papers
• International bibliometric evaluation of scientific production. The international and national research funding system and the European and international policy for the exploitation of research results and for the protection of intellectual property will also be illustrated.
