Opening Ceremony of the XL Cycle Doctoral School in Psychology
On Friday, October 18th, 2024, the Psychology Doctoral School held the opening ceremony for its XL cycle. Professor Margherita Lanz, the school's director, presided over the event, which saw the participation of doctoral students from the three current cycles, along with those from the outgoing XXXVII cycle. Members of the academic board and the organizational committee were also in attendance.
As every year, Professor Lanz opened the ceremony by offering a detailed overview of the school's recent innovations and the program's distinctive features. The event continued with presentations from doctoral students of the XXXIX cycle, who provided insights into their research and academic lives. These presentations, including both personal reflections and project overviews, underscored the collaborative environment and challenges inherent in the doctoral program.
The ceremony concluded with individual presentations by the 13 new students of the XL cycle, each introducing their research projects, marking the beginning of their academic journey.
The Doctoral School wishes the new students success as they embark on this important phase of their careers.
